This is a professional system that makes your CD look like brand new when finished, not cloudy and dull. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
1. Can all damaged CD's be successfully restored?
Carefully check the LABEL side of the CD for any damage, scratches or gouges as the information is burned into the foil side of the label, and any damage here can make the CD unplayable. Check both sides of the disc for any cracks. Cracks sometimes look like a scratch, but cannot be repaired. Hold the disc up to a 50 watt or so light, with the PLAY surface facing you. If any patches of the light show through, then the data has been damaged and cannot be repaired. Following these guidelines will help get the best results from your repaired disc. There is no process that can restore damaged or missing data from the label side, therefore it is important to screen your discs carefully BEFORE sending them in for repair.
2. Can anything be done for CD's that are damaged on the label side?
Damaged or missing data cannot be repaired or replaced. Most players are able to track over minor damage without too much difficulty, especially scratches that radiate from the center outwards. Scratches that follow the direction of play will usually cause a problem. We do repair all CD's sent to us, and cannot issue refunds or make any warranties on ANY discs that have not been properly screened.
3. Do you play the discs to make sure the repair was successful?
I try to listen to most discs sent in for repair, but I don't have capability to play Playstation or Sega since I don't own this type of equipment. You will have to take responsibility for screening this type before sending. However, I have repaired many of these discs and have had good results from previous customers. We will make every effort to insure you are satisfied with our services.
4. What discs are able to be repaired?
Our repair process works well on Playstation, Sega, Music, CD+G (Karaoke), CD-Rom, CD-R, CD-RW and DVD's both single and dual sided. For the most part, ANY 5" CD can be repaired on my equipment, except stated above for Blue Ray discs.
5. How long will it take to get my CD resurfaced?
Depending on the number of discs sent, most discs can be repaired same day as I receive them and ship them right back. Worst case scenario, 3-4 days turnaround. To check status, please use the email address listed below and I will respond happily.
6. How much does it cost for repair?
Resurfacing Cost: $5.00 per disc for Music, CD- Rom, CD+G, CD-R, CD-RW. $7.00 per disc for DVD's and Game Discs. If sending 5 or more discs at one time, call or e-mail me for the pricing and shipping prices! Please send the amount listed above for each disc sent in for repair. I will accept checks for payment, but allow 10 days for checks to clear the bank. Discs sent with Money order payments will be shipped back immediately upon repair! Checks or Money Orders need to be made out to: Rolling Thunder Music Service. Thank You.

You can have your discs sent back Regular First Class Mail for FREE, this means NO tracking or guarantee shipping from the Post Office, OR you can enclose $3.00 shipping along with repair price listed above so they can be sent Certified Mail with a tracking number. Post Office Regulations prevent me from being able to use Confirmation Delivery on single discs.
